ROLE: The Case Manager is the agency's key "first contact person" with potential clients i.e. screening, evaluating and recommending for program entry. The Case Manager continues to interact with each resident on an ongoing / regular basis, providing advocacy, coaching and assistance towards attainment of the client's goals. The incumbent also performs regular "on call" duties - by telephone and on-site, if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a two-year post secondary diploma / certificate program (minimum) such as Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or similar related discipline. Several years related work experience is preferred. The successful incumbent will have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively 1-on-1 (and with groups), skillfully develop trust and rapport, maintain strict confidentiality, act with care and compassion, and conduct oneself as a professional.
SALARY & BENEFITS: This is a full time salaried position which provides health care benefits upon successful completion of a three month probationary period.
