Donating Goods

  1. Goods:
    • What Goods are Needed?
      • Canned goods: fruit, vegetables, soup, beans, meat, tomato sauce
      • Dry goods: rice, beans, top ramen, pasta, peanut butter, oatmeal, crackers, cereal
      • Household items: toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, wipes, ziploc bags, tin foil
  2. When Can I Drop Off?
    • Regular food bank hours:
      • Monday: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
      • Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
      • Friday: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
    • If these times don’t work, call us at 360-354-4673 to arrange an alternative drop-off time.
  3. FAQ:
    • Q: Can I donate expired food?
      A: Yes! Project Hope will accept items within one year of the expiration date for dry goods and five years for canned items.
    • Q: What if I bought something in bulk, used some, and want to donate the rest?
      A: Sorry, we cannot accept opened items.
    • Q: What does CHA need most?
      A: This varies from week to week—please call us to find out our current needs.

Invitations

Invite Christian Hope Association to Speak We would love to share our mission and impact with your church, small group, or event! To invite a CHA representative to speak:

  • Call us at 360-354-9930 or contact our Director of Donor and Church Partnerships, Kim Zystra, at kim@christianhopeassociation.org
  • Include the date, time, and location of your event, along with any specific topics you’d like us to cover.
  • A team member will follow up to discuss availability and next steps.

Volunteer

How to Volunteer
The first step to becoming a volunteer for Project Hope or New Way Ministries is to complete a volunteer application and email it to us or drop it off at our offices. A staff member will then review your application within 5 business days and contact you to discuss it further or schedule an interview.
